ESG reporting

Since 2016, we have utilized the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and we began integrating disclosures from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB, now part of the International Sustainability Standards Board) in 2019 and aligning with the recommendations of the former Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) in 2022. We have disclosed to the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) and CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) since 2020. In 2022, Tanger became a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), committing to the adoption of sustainable and socially responsible policies, alignment with the Compact's Ten Principles, and reporting on implementation through the submission of an annual Communication on Progress.
